after 2 years of fucking around and getting it right we finally made our album. 13 tracks of dope rap music, a little dance, a little anger and a lot of good ideas. If I didn’t already have it I would download it, listen to it and enjoy it… because it’s beautiful. ; )

We were stoked to celebrate our album release and tour with some of our close homies and collaborators in Portland. We held the party at our favorite spot in town, The Hush, which is a community run space that warmly opened their doors to us. On stage we were joined by Orange Jam, Nightcrawlers, Gepetto and DJ Zone, as well as our homie from Vermont, Andreas. When it came time, we delivered an intense set to leave a little start fires in the minds of everyone while we journey around the country!

Of course, we had a PARTY AT MY HOUSE, rocked a show in my hood, up to no good, but its ALLLL GOOOOOD. We traversed the years at One34 with some 200 people on 2 floors amid psychedelic art and wildly different music all night long. Oh yeah, and Shafer was there, with a HD camera to document the madness. ARE YOU ALONE YET? Shermstixx’ punk futurebeat antithem. Okay, so our server got hacked and in light of this i have decided its not worth the trouble to run a blog on our server that is likely to be open to spam attacks or whatever it is. So from now on start fires dot com is running over here at WordPress and we are just going to keep on moving. Its 2000FINE with us. Here is a quick update to get the year started. We had a raging PARTY AT MY HOUSE on New Years Eve and our homie Joe Shafer caught a good portion of it on HD. We are releasing videos from that night slowly but surely. We have a bunch of new music and are going on tour in February through the NW and down to San Francisco. At that point DMLH will continue on the Watch It Grow tour while Shermstixx returns to Portland to continue crafting the ultimate futurebeat. We will re-unite this June for some super summer shows in Portland, before heading out on tour again this fall. Word. Now I will get back to re up loading our videos and photos and tour calendar and links and old posts.
